Good News for EPS 95 Pensioners: MP Hema Malini held 2 round of discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Soon hike in pension will be announced

MP Hema Malini held 2 round of discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Soon hike in pension will be announced said EPS 95 pensioners organisations national president Commander Ashok Raut. He was speaking at the national convention of EPS 95  Shirdi. 

Corers of rupees belonging to worker are deposited with the government in the form of provident fund (PF). However Rahul  frowned over the pending pension Hike issue, saying that the government had kept it in abeyance.


He said that MP Hema Malini was assisting in the Restoration of the issue and committee on finance had been appointed at the meeting of the national executive held on 17 April 2022.

The pensioners of the EPS scheme gets pension of only rupees 1000 to rupees 2500. This amount is very meagre in times of inflation and should be increased to at least rupees 7500 Commander Ashok Raut pointed out. Besides the Dearness allowance and medical facility should be granted them he added.


for the last 15 year the organisation has been fighting for raising the pension limit to at least rupees 5000 for those who don't get the benefit of a  pension.

As many as 8000 office bearers and pensioners from around 25 state across the country attended the conversation.
