Request regarding decision to increase the adequate minimum pension of non-beneficiary EPS 1995 pensioners having higher pension on actual pay/service.

Hon'ble Justice Uday Umesh Lalit,
Hon'ble Chief Justice of India,
New Delhi.

Subject:- Request regarding the decision to increase the adequate minimum pension of non-beneficiary EPS 1995 pensioners having higher pension on actual pay/service.

Respected your owner,
With due respect & high regard, EPS-1995 Pensioners are glad to pay the best wishes to Hon'ble your owner on taking over as the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India. As you are aware that more than 80% of EPS-1995 pensioners are over 70, 75 years of age, and are not getting the benefit of pension on real/actual wages (service time).

The amount of Family Pension Scheme (FPS) 1971 deducted from our salary for the purpose was merged in the account of EPS-1995, but our service period of this period for pensionable service which determines the quantum of pension was not included in the actual length of service & in some cases given simply two yrs weightage.

As a result of not being included in this actual period of service while calculating the pension, our pension was able to fix only from ₹ 200/- to a maximum of ₹ 3500/- monthly which does not even touch the current national average cost of living ₹10000/-.

Therefore, the appeal of EPS 95 pensioners before the Hon'ble Supreme Court is that there is a dire need for an adequate minimum pension to maintain two persons who can meet the present cost of living and socio-economic security, and human dignity for a normal life. to provide constitutional protection.

Therefore, along with the decision of the Hon'ble Bench, which has reserved the decision on the conclusion of hearing the cases of high pension of EPS-1995 pensioners, along with the decision to take the issue of minimum pension to the medium level by increasing the present quantum of minimum pension. Compassionate.

This decision will be a historic natural complete justice by intervening on humanitarian grounds as well as adjudicating on matters of high pension which will provide much-needed relief to the poor helpless pensioners to lead their normal life free from dependence on others in the age of physical infirmity. Those who are currently going through a miserable condition of life due to severe economic insecurity and protection of their constitutional right to life will also be ensured.

Sir, by providing this just system, the awareness of human rights and the human aspect of our judiciary will prove to be the golden page of judicial history as well as honorable you and the honorable justices subordinate to you will remain in the hearts of the senior citizens of India throughout their lives.
with high regard,

Ranjit Singh Dasundi
EPS 95 Pensioners
