EPS case in Supreme Court :

The EPS matter was listed today in Court No.2 of three judges bench consisting of Hon’ble Mr. Justice U Lalit, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ravindra Bhat and Mr. Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia. 

However, Mr. Justice Ravindra Bhat recused himself to hear this matter as he had presided over the bench at Rajasthan High Court and delivered the judgment against EPFO following Kerala High Court Judgment, which is under appeal and a part of the present bunch of petitions.   

The court directed to list the matter on Friday (15.07.2022) as the first item of the Board to fix a hearing schedule subject to formation of an appropriate bench by the Chief Justice of India.
