EPFO issues Directions for timely credit of monthly Pension to EPS Pensioners
EPFO is disbursing monthly pension to more than 65 Lakh pensioners every month under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995.

EPFO ने अपने 65 लाख EPS 95 Pensioners को समय पर मासिक पेंशन जारी करने के निर्देश जारी किये है। Press Information Bureau Government of India की ओर से 23 मार्च को यह सूचना प्रसारित कर के इसके बारे में जानकारी दी गई है। देश ने कर्मचारी पेंशन योजना, 1995 (EPS 95) के अंतर्गत हर महीने लगभग 65 लाख से अधिक पेंशनधारकों को मासिक पेंशन मिलती है।
Press Information Bureau Government of India से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक देश में कोरोना वायरस महामारी के कारण देश के कई राज्यों में और विभिन्न भागों में लॉक डाउन की घोषणा की गई है कर कुछ में कर्फ्यू भी लगाया जा चूका है। वर्तमान परिस्थिति के कारण पेंशनधारकों को किसी किस्म की असुविधा न हो, यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए केंद्रीय भविष्य निधि आयुक्त ने EPFO के सभी फील्ड कार्यालयों को चालू माह के लिए पेंशनधारकों के विवरण और पेंशन राशि संबंधी विवरण 25 मार्च, 2020 तक उत्पन्न करने और उनका मिलान करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन (EPFO) के द्वारा अपने 65 से भी ज्यादा पेंशनर्स, जो की कर्मचारी पेंशन योजना, 1995 (EPS 95) के अंतर्गत आते है उनको वर्तमान महीने की मासिक पेंशन पाने में असुविधा न हो इसके लिए यह एक अच्छा कदम उठाया है.
Due to the corona virus pandemic, lock down has been declared in various parts of the country. In order to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to the pensioners on account of the prevalent situation, Central Provident Fund Commissioner has directed the field offices of EPFO to generate and reconcile pensioners’ details and pension amount statements for the current month by 25th March, 2020. He further directed that the same should be forwarded to the banks in advance so that the monthly pension is credited into the account of the pensioners in time i.e. during the month of March itself.
