EPS 95 Higher Pension SC Order: CBT meeting proposed to held on 1-12-2022- CBT Members on recent SC order

Sub: CBT meeting proposed to held on 1-12-2022- Explore possibilities of submission of Memorandum to Chairman & other CBT Members on recent SC order dated 4-11-2022

My Dear Pensioner friends,

Central Board of Trustee is recommending authority to EPFO on EPS matter. CBT Members recommendations are very curical & will  make the difference & big difference

As U all are aware that next CBT meeting will be held on 1-12-2022

Now  we have an opportunity & golden opportunity to draw attention of  Chairman & other Members of CBT on recent SC judgement of 4-11-2022. Hence there is need & urgent need for preparing short,crisp  memorandum for submission

I don't know how far it will help ?

We can raise pensioners point of view before CBT Members. An attempt can be made because it is last chance to represent our EPS matter before all CBT Members

Memorandum can be mailed to all CBT Members including Chairman & other conerned authorities- Labour Secretary, Chief Commissioner EPFO  & others

All  Associations  may like take suitable decisions & initiate action in this regard

We Feel our CBT members should seek a proper clarification on the implications of SC judgement dated 4-11-2022 and ensure that the benefits offered under RC Gupta judgement, which has been upheld and being heavily relied on in recent judgement, is not diluted in any way.

As we are too old to pursue with further legal course, to establish our rightful claims, based on SC verdict of 04.10.2016,

Which has not been overturned till date, it would be faster if our CBT members represent & recommend our case properly in the meeting to be held on 01.12.2022 so that the directives to be issued by EPFO takes care of all pensioners interests.
