Rahu - Tehsil Daund, District Pune (Maharashtra) Dated 24.09.2022 NAC team met Hon Smt Nirmala Sitharaman ji, Union Finance Minister. The NAC team met the Hon'ble Finance Minister directly and narrated the grievances of the pensioners and urged them to get the demands approved without delay by reminding them of the meeting held in the past. Hon'ble Finance Minister has given concrete assurance to get the demands of EPS 95 pensioners approved by the Government.
Under the guidance of NAC Chief Commander Ashok Raut ji, under the leadership of Organizing Secretary of West India Mr. Subhash Pokharkar and leader of Mahila Front Mrs. Vaishali Bansode ji met the honorable Finance Minister. The team was formed by EPS 95 pensioners of Pune/Solapur and Ahmednagar.
NAC team met the Hon. Union Finance Minister Madam at the residence of MLA Shri Rahul Kul ji in Village Rahu (Tehsil Daund). First of all, NAC Mahila Front leader Smt. Vaishali Bansode ji expressed her gratitude to the finance minister for giving her time to listen to the grievances of the pensioners. She reminded the Meeting with the NAC Chief by the initiative of Hon. Hema Malini ji with the finance minister in the past i.e., on dated 05.08.2021, also Memorandum given by NAC Bangalore leaders in Bangalore on 02.07.2021and meeting with the Additional Secretary Dr. Vivek Singh. All the photographs of the meetings were also shown. (Which were put on the first page along with the memorandum in the folder). While submitting the memorandum, also explained the grievances of the pensioners in detail and said that the demands of the pensioners should be approved by the Government without delay. Which the hon. minister listened calmly. In this same sequence, the NAC leader Shri Subhash ji Pokharkar also apprised the finance minister about the problems of EPS 95 pensioners.
After listening to the problems of the pensioners, the Hon. Finance Minister said that I remember the meetings with the representatives of your organization. We are cognizant of the problems of EPS 95 pensioners. We are working on this subject and soon a positive decision will be taken by our government.
It should be known to all that, During the visit of Hon Finance Minister to Pune / Baramati area - on 22.09.2022, hundreds of EPS95 pensioners, under the leadership of District Coordinator Mr. Ajit Kumar Ghadge, gave a request to the finance minister by the Pune team at Muktai Garden Dhayari Pune, but due to extensive security arrangements direct discussion could not take place.
On 23.09.2022, request was made by leaders of NAC Baramati Tehsil and hundreds of EPS95 pensioners were present in Muktai Lawns Baramati. There also direct talks could not be possible.
On 24.09.2022 in Indapur and Patas , again hundreds of EPS95 pensioners including President of Indapur Tehsil Shri Prakash Shinde and President of Patas (Daund Tehsil) Shri Shivaji Diwekar tried to discuss directly with the finance minister.
The office bearers of NAC not only had met the Finance Minister but had a serious discussion when they finally got an opportunity to discuss directly with the Finance Minister Madam at the residence of MLA Shri Rahul Kul in village Rahu.
It should also be known that the distance between Rahu and Patas is about 42 kms. Due to no means of transportation available to reach Rahu, our brave brother and Veerangana's sister Mrs. Vaishali Bansode ji reached village Rahu by motorbike. Salute to the whole team.
Also Mr. Bhandwalkar, Mr. Prataprao Satpute, Mr. Mauli Chopde, Mr. Suresh Patil, Mr. Sahdev Gaikwad, Mr. Vilas Gujar, Mr. Arun Naik, Mr. Chandrashekhar Kulkarni, Mr. Mahajani, Mr. Khandagale, including women pensioners of Walchand Nagar Krishi Mandal Pune / Salute to Ahmednagar and Solapur team also.
