Hon. Shri Prataprao Jadhav Ji, Member of Parliament,Buldhana and Consultative Committee, Ministry of Labor and Employment wrote a special and sensitive letter to Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendraji Modi ji:-
In this special letter it is written by the honorable MP that-
With great sadness, it is kindly informed that in my parliamentary constituency, Buldhana (Maharashtra), the organization of EPS 95 pensioners, ie Rashtriya Sangharsh Samiti (NAC), is continuing a chain hungar strike since last 1263 days in front of the District Collector's office.
I myself am saddened to see that pensioners above 65 years of age are sitting on this gradual fast in the rainy season, during extreme winter and in scorching heat. The issue of EPS 95 pensioners was raised many times in the Lok Sabha by many eminent members of parliament including me, but only various committees have been formed time and again by the Government and on the other hand a large number of old pensioners are dying day by day.
Now the time has come when it should not be discussed, there is an urgent need to save these pensioners by passing a bill in Parliament and providing them Rs.7500+ DA and medical facilities. On behalf of the President of National Agitation Committee (NAC), I have received a letter addressed to your Honour, dated 06.06.2022.Honorable Sir, this letter is signed in blood.
The is being forwarded to your kindness with my recommendation. Kindly take an immediate action so that the gradual fast at Buldhana ends respectfully. This special letter is written with reference to the letter written by NAC Chief Commander Ashok Raut ji and the blood signature on the letter.
