Here comes a piece of good news for the Provident Fund subscribers. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced that EPS’95 pensioners can now submit life certificate at any time during the year, which will be valid for one year.
“EPS’95 Pensioners can now submit Life Certificate at any time which will be valid for 1 year from date of submission,” EPFO tweeted.
Life certificates or the Jeevan Pramaan Patra, is an important document for pensioners. The document acts as a proof that the pensioner is still alive.
WHERE TO SUBMIT LIFE CERTIFICATE?
Pensioners can submit life certificates at pension disbursing banks, Common Service Center (CSC), post office, postman, UMANG App, and the nearest EPFO office.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
Pensioners will require a few documents to submit life certificates. These documents are Pension Payment Order (PPO) number, Aadhaar number, bank account details, mobile number linked with Aadhaar.

The pensioners can submit Life Certificate digitally using the following methods:
- Pension disbursing bank
- IPPB/Indian Post Office/Postman
- UMANG App
- Nearest EPFO Office

The pensioners need following documents to submit life certificates.
- Pension Payment Order (PPO) number
- Aadhaar number
- bank account details
- mobile number linked with Aadhaar.
