It is understand the Finance/Labour Ministries have turned down and rejected Proposal to increase the pension of EPS-95 Pensioners! This is not the First Time it has happened but even before they do not seem to have a favorable disposition towards EPS-95 Pensioners! The Reasons and the Reasoning do not find approval from the masses!
How is the Govt. Either at Centre or at States able to pay Hefty Pensions -many many times more than the actual Salaries -to their Employees? Do they not make Budget Provision for the same?
Why are we -the EPS-95 Pensioners -discriminated against? Do we have no families to support? The Cost of Living is galloping in Geometric Progression year after year with Prices of all Essential Commodities and Fuel /Cooking Gas /Energy Bills going up further up!Our Minimum Pension remaining stagnant since its inception during Nov. 1995 with no correction at all for Inflation!
Whereas for Central/State Govt. Pensioners it is revised periodically every six months automatically!What sin have we committed? Why are we discriminated for no fault of ours! The only mistake and that too a blunder we committed was we served in Public Sector Industries Owned/Managed by Central/State Govts.
Can the Rules and Regulations Not be amended to accommodate/facilitate us Comfortably?
MP's & MLA's enjoy all benefits disproportionate to their avowed service where they do not deserve any! Their only service is promoting their own Kith and Kin amassing wealth by questionable means for their own ulterior ends!
How can we expect them to promote our Cause when they do not at all find time for their own Self-appeasement???
Justice Delayed is Justice Denied! But Let not Justice be Buried For Ever! Not only Should Justice be given and Delivered in time but also Justice Should Seem to have been given also!
It js not late even now! Let Common Sense and Wisdom Prevail!
The Prime Minister may kindly Intervene and Set at Rest all Speculations! Chief Justice of the Supreme Court may kindly Facilitate such an Intervention with GOI /EPFO at the Earliest!
