EPS 95 Minimum Pension Hike 7500+DA: EPS 95 Pensioners Dharna Protest in front of EPFO office, Submitted Memorandum to Prime Minister through RPFC.

National Agitation committee for EPS 95 pensioners have issued instructions to all its state unit including Chhattisgarh to stage sitting dharna and protest demonstration in front of EPFO offices and submit memorandum to the Prime Minister with the following long pending demands of EPS 95 pensioners.

  • Minimum pension under employee pension scheme 1995 be raised to Rs. 7500 per month with DA from the present Rs. 1000.

  • Higher Pension on actual salary last drawn be paid to the pensioners who would like to opt for it.

  • Supreme Court judgement of 4th October 2016 in respect of RC Gupta case and another Supreme Court judgement dated 1st April 2019 dismissing the Appeal of EPFO be implemented in letter and spirit.

  • EPFO letter dated 31st May 2017 issued illegally discriminating the Pensioners into exempted and unexplored categories be scrapped forthwith.

  • Widow pension to be paid 100% from the present 50% limit.

  • Medical facility is free of cost to the EPS 95 pensioners.

Accordingly Chhattisgarh unit of EPS 95 Pensioners under the chairmanship of L M Siddiqui on Thursday organised dharna and protest demonstration in front of Raipur EPF office and submited a memorandum address to the Prime Minister incorporating the above demands. Since 144 is already imposed in Raipur only 5 person where allowed to participate in dharana protest. They had put up posters displaying their demands on their bodies, shouting slogans.

Abhishek Kumar RPFC 1, Mr. Azad RPFC 2 and other officers. In additional L M Siddiqui President,  Chhattisgarh unit of NAC other responsible office bearers of NAC Mr. GP Singh, BJ Patnaik, Ejazur Rahman, Sujoy Kumar, U Varadharajan and other participated in agitation and discussion with EPFO officers, informs a release issued by Siddiqui, State president NAC for EPS 95 pensioners Chhattisgarh state.
