NAC Chief's visit to Delhi
Under the "Save EPS 95 Pensioners" Campaign Commander Ashok Raut, NAC Chief, met the National President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and CBT member Hon. Shri HJ Pandya.
NAC Chief along with his team discussed with Hon. Shri HJ Pandya, BMS President and CBT member regarding all issues pertaining to the EPS 95 pension scheme including.
Discrimination being done against EPS95 pensioners, the plight of pensioners due to withdrawal of various provisions by EPFO unilaterally and getting very meager pension amount. He also discussed "problems and solutions" including the four-point demands of NAC.
After discussions, he handed over a memorandum to the Hon CBT member and finally requested on behalf of NAC that a special meeting be called on only on issue ie regarding EPS pension increase* and in this special meeting, a resolution be passed by the CBT and the same be forwarded to the Govt. so that the pensioners who are dying day by day can be saved or at least let them die with self-respect. Apart from this, the uninterrupted chain hunger strike going on from 24.12.2018 at Buldhana, the Headquarters of NAC can also be ended respectfully.
Hon Shri H J Pandya Ji very patiently and seriously discussed all the issues raised by the NAC Chief and in the end said that the BMS fully supports NAC in this regard and will do their best to resolve the problem at the earliest.
National General Secretary of the organization Shri Virendra Singh, National Chief Adviser Dr. PN Patil, and Chief Coordinator of South India Shri Ramakant Nargund were present in the Central delegation along with the NAC Chief.
