As all EPS 95 pensioners are aware that since the last many years, continuous efforts are being made to increase the pension of EPS 95 pensioners, but till now the pension of EPS 95 pensioners has not increased. In view of this, The delegation of EPS 95 Rashtriya Sangharsh Samiti Lucknow presented a memorandum to Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh ji on 3/7/2021 at his residence, for increasing the pension of EPS 95 pensioners. The delegation In which Shri KS Tiwari, Shri Rajshekhar Nagar, Shri Rajiv Bhatnagar, Shri PK Shrivastava, Shri Dilip Pandey, and Shri Umakant Singh were included.
A memorandum has been submitted to Hon'ble Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh ji, demanding that it be increased from 1000 to ₹ 7500 and to provide him medical facilities with dearness allowance. The Defense Minister seriously listened to the demand of pension increase and other things of the members of the committee and directed his PA to immediately write a letter to the Labor Minister in this regard and assured to discuss it in the House also.
Regarding the lack of any treatment facilities for the members, the Minister said that I would talk to the Chief Minister to add them to the Ayushman scheme for free medical facilities. After much discussion and listening to the problems of the members, he said that after August 15 You come to Delhi with your delegation, there will be discussions with other related departments and the Prime Minister will also be informed.
Honorable Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh has made the demands of all EPS 95 pensioners, in which EPS 95 pensioners should be given a minimum pension of ₹ 7500, as well as it should be linked with dearness allowance and if necessary, and directed
his PA to immediately write a letter to the Labor Minister in this
regard and assured to discuss it in the House also.
Demands of EPS 95 Pensioners as Follows
EPS 95 pensioners should be given a minimum pension of ₹ 7500+DA
After that, the interim letter issued by EPFO on 31 May 2017 should be withdrawn and higher pension should be given as per EPFO's circular dated 23 March 2017.
After that all EPS 95 pensioners and their spouses should be given free medical facilities, if there is no provision in the scheme, then please make provisions, rules and regulations are for the public welfare of all.
After that the retired employees who have not been included in the EPS 95 pension scheme should be brought under the scheme by making them a member or they should be given an amount of ₹ 5000 as pension. The number of such retired employees in the country is very less, who can be given pension.
