The National President of the National Agitation Committee met the Honorable Bhartruhari Mahtab ji, Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Labor and MP, Cuttack (Odisha)

He along with the NAC team Handed over memorandum on behalf of the EPS 95 pension holders of the country on Dtd.24.1.2021 at Cuttack.


Commander Ashok Raut, National President of National Agitation Committee, General Secretary Shri Virendra Singh ji, National Chief Advisor Shri P.N. Patil ji , National Secretary, Shri Bapuji Patra, State President Odisha Shri BC Naik, State Coordinator Odisha Shri Sarveshwar Khillar, Odisha Senior NAC Leader Shri Anand Swain, Shri Deepak Sahu and SS Roul accompanied the president NAC.


Our team narrated the agony of pension holders to Hon.Shri Mahatab ji . The Hon.Chairman and MP from Cuttack discussed and appreciated the Engr. Kavish Dange Committee" report constituted by NAC. On behalf of the NAC it was told that the pension amount received by these pensioners is extremely low and pitiable. Even after deducting money every month in the pension fund during their service , what they get in their old age is actually laughable. It actually reflects on our National character. Pension holders must get at least Rs. 7500 and Dearness Allowance.

According to the order of the Hon.Supreme Court, higher pension on actual salary and medical facilities also should be provided.


After discussions Hon. Mahatab ji said that the Parliamentary Committee on Labor has taken cognizance of the status of pension holders and all related issues. Our committee will sympathetically consider the report submitted by the National Agitation Committee It may be known that under the leadership of Commander Ashok Raut, the National President of the NAC , there has been a chain hunger strike going on in the organization's headquarters Buldhana (Maharashtra) for the last 763 days.
