हाल ही में EPFO ने एक RTI द्वारा पूछे गए सवाल का जवाब देते हुए करोदो रुपये निष्क्रिय खाते से ईपीएफ सदस्यों के अंशदान निधि यानि चालू खाते में स्थानांतरित करने की जानकारी दी है। 

आपको यह जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि साल 2018-19 के दौरान निष्क्रिय खाते से सदस्यों के चालू ईपीएफ अंशदान खाते में संशोधन के कारण लगभग रु. 52,920 करोड़ स्थानांतरित कर दिए गए है। 

वही साल 2018-19 में निष्क्रिय खाते से खताधारकों के दावों के भुगतान की दिशा में 2,881 करोड़ रुपये जारी किए गए हैं जो अपने पीएफ का दावा करने के लिए आगे आए थे।

EPFO को RTI के माध्यम से निचे दिया गया सवाल इस सन्दर्भ में पूछा गया था Amount, if any, transferred from inoperative accounts to some other head/account, please provide year wise details of such transfer इस सवाल के जवाब में यहाँ आश्चर्यकरक जानकारी दी गई है। 

EPFO द्वारा जो पत्रचार इस जानकारी के बारे में सांझा किया गया है ओ निचे दिया गया इसका सारा श्रेय मा. परवीन कोहली जी को ज्याता है। 

You will be surprised to note that a sum of Rs. 52,920 Crores (Approx) has been transferred from In-operative account to EPF Contribution Fund – Members’ operative account during the year 2018-19, due to amendment in the definition of In-operative accounts. 

Whereas only Rs. 2,881 crores have been released from the In-operative account in 2018-19 towards the payment of claims to those holders of In-operative accounts who came forward to claim their PF.
