पुरानी पेंशन बहाली की मांग को लेकर रविवार को कर्मचारियों और शिक्षकों ने केंद्रीय श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्री संतोष गंगवार के कार्यालय पर उपवास किया। नेशनल मूवमेंट फ़ॉर ओल्ड पेंशन के आह्वाहन पर अटेवा पेंशन मंच के सदस्यों ने शांतिपूर्ण उपवास कर पुरानी पेंशन व्यवस्था बहाली की माँग की । अटेवा पेंशन बचाओ मंच के सदस्यों ने केंद्रीय मंत्री संतोष गंगवार को अपनी मांगों को लेकर ज्ञापन सौंपा ।

पुरानी पेंशन बहाल हो
इस मौके पर केंद्रीय मंत्री संतोष गंगवार ने धरने पर बैठे शिक्षकों से कहा कि वो प्रधानमंत्री तक इन मांगों को पहुँचाया जाएगा और सरकार इस विषय पर जरूर विचार करेगी। वही अटेवा मंच के प्रदेश सयुक्त मंत्री डॉ निर्भय गुजर ने कहा कि सरकार से उनकी माँग है कि पुरानी पेंशन बहाली शुरू की जाए। सरकार इस व्यवस्था पर कोई ठोस नीति के तहत काम करे और जल्द लागू करे । नई पेंशन योजना न तो सरकार के हित मे न ही अधिकारी, शिक्षक, और कर्मचारियों के हित में । इसका फायदा केवल प्राइवेट कंपनियों को है उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार अगर उनकी बात नहीं मानती है तो देश भर के कर्मचारी और शिक्षक संसद का घेराव करेगी।

चुनाव कार्य का होगा बहिष्कार
उपवास में आए हुए सभी शिक्षक और कर्मचारियों प्रण किया कि आने वाले लोकसभा चुनाव में पेंशन विहीन शिक्षक और कर्मचारी उसी दल का समर्थन करेंगे जो दल पुरानी पेंशन बहाली की मांग का समर्थन करेगा। इस अवसर पर कर्मचारियों ने निश्चय किया कि यदि सरकार मांग पर ध्यान नहीं देती है तो भविष्य में सरकार के प्रति बड़ा असहयोग आंदोलन चलाकार चुनाव कार्य का बहिष्कार किया जाएगा।
