The Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat held every month by the Employees Provident Fund Organisation has been renamed as, “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” (PF Near You) and has been broad-based to promote a participatory approach, the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner II, P. Senthil Kumar has said.
In a press release, Mr. Senthil Kumar said the Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat had been a platform for grievance redress for many years. With the adoption of IT-enabled services and improved service delivery mechanisms, the EPFO has adopted a new structure for the adalat.
The move was part of the EPFO to be more accessible to stakeholders, including employers. Instead of a pure grievance redress mechanism, the adalat has been made more broad-based. The objective of the “PF Near You” is to not only redress the grievances of subscribers but also invite their suggestions, enable employers to air their grievances, and sensitise stakeholders to the new initiatives taken by the EPFO.
“PF Near You’ meets would be conducted on the 10th of every month starting July.
The programme for July would be held for different stakeholders on July 10 at the EPFO’s Sub-Regional Office here as per the following schedule: 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – subscribers; 3 to 4 p.m. – employers.
EPFO members are appealed to submit their grievances to the Sub-Regional Office in person or forward by name to P. Mohanan, Assistant Provident Commissioner (PGHS) on or before July 6.
